Since one cannot totally depend on somebody to be successful, then he must be a leader of himself. He must be a leader instead of a follower in his chosen field of endeavor. Being a leader does not only connote being independent but it also means being responsible to ones own actions and decisions. One must also be imaginative. However, one must know how to balance how to practice self- control in fulfilling his aim. The habit of doing more than paid for is also one of the most important lessons of the Law of Success. It is the habit of exerting ones very best in doing things even if the payment given is not enough to compensate such effort. Another law is to have a pleasing personality with this, one would surpass whatever obstacle he may encounter.
To attain success, one must also think accurately. He must be able to organize things and be able to differentiate facts from information. More so, success requires one to concentrate and to cooperate with others. One should know how to focus his attention and how to be acquainted with others.
Profiting by failure is another law of success. It means, using ones past experiences - mistakes and failures as a motivation to start anew and even go further in the name of success. Finally, tolerance and the practice of the golden rule should be inculcated in ones mind. For without these, one will eventually lead himself into pitfalls making him unsuccessful.
