This is a guide to hotels near Manchester Airport. If you want to stay as close as possible to the terminal buildings, there are 4 hotels within the airport grounds to choose from. Some of them are within walking distance of the terminals and they all offer transport where necessary.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport

This is the only hotel that is directly linked to the airport. Theres a pedestrian tunnel to Terminals 1 and 2 with a moving walkway. Terminal 3 is a short walk away, or you can catch the hotel shuttle bus. The Radisson is a 4 star hotel with 2 restaurants and a bar. It also has a swimming pool, gym and meetings rooms. Theres free WiFi access throughout the building and they offer airport parking deals. The Phileas Fogg restaurant especially is worth checking out if you happen to be stranded in a blizzard. This jetsetting venue with a panoramic view of the airfield serves seasonal and local fare, but also has a breakfast buffet with a selection of over 40 items.

Bewleys Hotel Manchester Airport

It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Terminals 1 and 3 from this hotel, and 10 minutes to Terminal 2. The 3 star hotel has a restaurant and lounge bar as well as conference facilities. Guests can make use of the complimentary wireless internet and holiday parking packages are available. The restaurant Kitchen is an unusual establishment, providing a focus on nutrition, choice and ethical sourcing that is rarely found in the one-size-fits-all world of airport restaurants. Importantly, the shuttle service is entirely complimentary.

Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport

This hotel is within the grounds of the airport and provides free transport to all the terminals. It is of 4 star standard and has a bar and 2 restaurants. Meeting rooms can be hired and there is WiFi access in the public areas of the hotel, although you have to pay for that. They also offer special rates including a nights accommodation and long term parking. Rooms are stylishly decorated, and the Sampana Thai Restaurant provides a shot of exoticism which is strangely absent from airport food, making it a great choice for when you get fed up of pre-packed sandwiches and amazingly expensive croissants. The hotel is fifteen minutes drive from designer shopping at the Trafford Centre and indoor skiing at the Chill Factore.

Hilton Manchester Airport

It takes 5 minutes to drive to the terminals from this 4 star hotel. The journey can be made on the Hiltons complimentary shuttle bus. The hotel has a relaxed and peaceful ambience, and is well-equipped with bar, gym and conference facilities. Theres internet access in all the bedrooms. They have overnight parking for resident guests, but dont offer holiday parking. Lowrys Restaurant is a wonderful place to eat, especially in summer, when afternoon light bathes the dining room through the high conservatory windows. On the menu, traditional English dishes mix with international cuisine, and theres an extensive hot and cold buffet.
