Pharmaceutical manufacturing entails the producing, extraction, purification, processing and packaging of chemical medications for animals and humans. This is the industry that strives to ensure that our health medicines are made correctly and distributed properly.

Synthetic hormones are a popular new drug that has been advanced to the public for the use of improving the sex life, changing gender or enhancing certain attributes of the body. There is not a lot of support for synthetic hormones because the belief is that finding a way to use all natural or organic methods is far safer for humans and animals.
Drugs that have a vegetable origin, such as strychnine and emetine are also manufactured for public use. Strychnine is, as nearly everyone knows, a very poisonous toxin to humans. These are manufactured for the purpose of killing rodents or pests. Intaking strychnine causes severe, painful muscular convulsions before asphyxiation and death.
Antihistamines are drugs that are produced for their health benefits for humans. These are used on a regular basis by people all over the world to control their allergies, like sneezing, itchy eyes and a runny nose. They can be purchased over the counter but the kind that is prescribed by a doctor is usually somewhat stronger with less side effects. This makes it better for people who work a regular job or children who go to school. Tranquilizers are yet another form of drug that is produced that has many benefits for humans and animals alike. Stress is a major problem for many people today and some have a weaker constitution that makes them more vulnerable to anxiety and worries. Especially after a traumatic event, tranquilizers are known to help ease the depression and sadness that often follows.
If not for the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in our world today, there are a great number of drugs that are helping people live normal day to day lives that would not be available. The industry is very large and there are a great many things that can be done with the products that they offer.
